University of Applied Science Erfurt

The University of Applied Sciences Erfurt, UASFHE was founded in 1991 with the faculty of business, logistics, and transport as biggest subdivision. UASFHE serves higher academic education and research as well as the transfer of know-how in the fields of transport & logistics laying focus on planning and operation of railways and transport systems. UASFHE is involved in establishing and modernising teaching programmes in the railway sector, an outstanding example of which is the bachelor of railway engineering that can be studied as a sandwich program with an integrated vocational training as railway traffic controller.
