Università degli Studi di Roma “La Sapienza” (UNIROMA1), Italy, is involved in the SERAS project by the Civil, Building and Environmental Engineering Department. This department has offered teaching and conducted research in the railway field for a long time and participated in many EU funded research and educational projects. In the railway focused education field, UNIROMA1 manages a master’s degree in Transport Systems Engineering, a Post-Master Specialist Course in Railway Infrastructures and Systems Engineering, and a PhD in Transport and Infrastructures.
